Partner with us

Two ways to start a conversation.

Inset carbon removals within your own operations (Scope 1 and 2) - or reach across your supply chain (Scope 3). Want to help your farmers jump-start their regenerative journey? Contact us.

Four pathways

How partnership works.

Four routes, depending on where you sit. Pick the closest when you get in touch - we will take it from there.

Direct Partnership (Supply-Chain Insetting)

Partner directly with Cold Steppe to fund regenerative practices for the growers in your own sourcing regions. Carbon removals happen inside your supply chain - insetting, not offsetting - with soil, yield, and water outcomes you can stand behind. The environmental attribute travels with the biochar: applied on land you own or operate, it reduces your Scope 1; carbon-negative energy can address Scope 2; in your grower network, Scope 3.

Feedstock & Facility Carbon Partnership

If you operate an agricultural processing facility, we can upcycle your agricultural residues into carbon-rich soil amendments - reducing your facility's carbon footprint, and with it, the product carbon footprint of everything you produce. For many milling operations, such as a rice mill, upcycling residues this way can take the facility carbon-negative.

Through RCPP

Join our current RCPP proposal - Arkansas's Grand Prairie Farmland & Groundwater Preservation Project - as a match partner. Alternatively, let us see how we could support your proposal with an in-kind donation or cash match.

Through the SUSTAINS Act

The SUSTAINS Act lets corporations and foundations contribute funds directly into USDA-NRCS conservation programs - earmarked to specific practices, programs, or geographies. Partner with Cold Steppe to direct your contribution to soil carbon amendment work in the regions you source from.

Through RCPP

Partnership levels.

Every level treats real acres. Ask us where you fit.

Marquee Partner

Match Cold Steppe's full commitment to the project and triple the acres treated.

Community Partner

Back the farmers in your region with what you can - every contribution treats real acres.

For foundations

Three ways to give.

Program Giving

Underwrite or match conservation funding through RCPP or the SUSTAINS Act - your grant dollars go further when paired with USDA cost-share.

Impact Financing

Help us build out production facilities and bring down the delivered cost of biochar for farmers - impact-related financing that turns philanthropy into permanent regional capacity.

Impact Investing

For mission-aligned investors, we welcome conversations about impact investment in Cold Steppe's build-out. Reach out and we'll follow up directly.

Tell us which pathway fits.

One short form. It asks who you are first, then only the questions that apply to the route you pick.
