Information about Nourishing Burn biochar and the USDA conservation programs it can be applied under. It is a starting point for a conversation, not an offer to sell, a contract, or a promise of supply. Anything we agree to do for your operation will be set out in a separate written agreement, and that agreement governs - not this website.

Eligibility for EQIP, RCPP and any other USDA program is determined by USDA-NRCS, not by us. Nothing here is a guarantee that you will be accepted, that funding will be available, or that any particular payment rate will apply to your contract.

Payment rates, practice standards and application windows are set by USDA and change from cycle to cycle and from state to state. Any figure on this site reflects published rates at the time of writing and should be confirmed with your local NRCS office before you rely on it.

We are not USDA, and we do not speak for USDA.

Laboratory values quoted on this site describe tested samples of our material. Field outcomes depend on your soil, your crop, your rotation, your rate and your season. Research and data indicate benefits across a range of southeastern systems; that is not a guarantee of a particular result on your ground, and nothing here should be treated as agronomic, financial, legal or tax advice for your operation. Talk to your agronomist and your own advisers.
